Cotswolds Holiday Cottage is nestled in the village of Hamsterley with unrestricted countryside views and within 1/2 mile to Hamsterley Forest popular with mountain bikers, horse riders and walkers alike . The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. A large enclosed garden with a low wall allows uninterrupted views over countryside and enjoyment of our many animals, incl alpacas. The space The cottage offers spacious living with modern facilities sleeping up to 6 people. It has a large living area with dining and sitting room as well as a country kitchen with all modern appliances. On the ground floor there are two double spacious bedrooms, a nice size family bathroom and separate shower room. On the first floor there is another large bedroom with double bed and a dressing room/ work area which is also large enough for a travel cot or temporary single bed. Leading from the hallway is a large, private garden and patio area with outdoor furniture. A covered games area includes dart board and table football as well as a play kitchen. All bedding, heating and towels are included. Guest access The cottage is located off the main road with parking available for two cars, leaving access on the lane for other residents. Additional parking is available on the main road at your own risk. Other things to note We are just under 5 miles to local amenities including a supermarket, butcher's, greengrocer's, library, bakery, gift shop, Chinese takeaway, fish & chip shop, Italian restaurant, swimming pool & four pubs in the village of Wolsingham. Towels and bedding will be provided for you and changed once per week unless requested otherwise.
