Centrally located, it’s the perfect base for exploring Kythera’s unspoiled natural beauty. The house is fully renovated with modern conveniences. It has a large courtyard and roof terrace furnished with eating and sitting areas that offer breathtaking panoramic views. The interior has been lovingly furnished with restored antiques, locally made furniture, and traditional fabrics and pottery. There are 3 bedrooms in the vaulted " kamara" wing of the house. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and a single bed on the raised platform. Bedroom 2 has two single beds and bedroom 3 has a sofa that opens into a double bed for two. Bedrooms 2 and 3 can be used as a suite of rooms. There is a large, eat-in kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, all utensils needed for cooking, and table service for 12. There are two full modern baths. It also has a laundry room with a sink, washer and dryer, iron, ironing board and storage shelves. There is also a place for storing luggage or other large objects. The house has air conditioning and heating throughout, screens on all windows, and free wifi. Linens and towels are changed and the house cleaned every 4th day. The entire house is exclusively yours to enjoy. It is for rental only, so it is not cluttered with personal belongings. There is ample closet and drawer space. The courtyard has 2 doors to the street and doors opening from the house. The courtyard is landscaped with trees and flowers and has a large table with an umbrella. The entire courtyard and roof have lighting, making this a perfect place for day or nighttime entertaining. The village church, St. Nikolas, located directly in front of the house, is available for Greek Orthodox weddings and christenings. The house courtyard has space to comfortably host a reception for 50 people. The small courtyard next to the kitchen is a convenient outdoor eating area. It has an entrance from the street and stairs to the roof deck. Child safety gates are also available. Free parking on premises for two cars, with additional parking space nearby. Owners are always available to offer assistance and answer questions. Guest access The entire house is for your use exclusively. The host will greet you on arrival at the house to introduce you to the house and answer any questions. Other things to note The house is licensed as a "Villa " by The Greek Tourist Organization (EOT). It has met the standards set by EOT and qualifies as an approved tourist accommodation.
