Cozy and bright one bedroom studio with a queen size bed located in a quiet neighborhood central to all things outdoors. The studio has a full kitchen with a small dinette table, bathroom with a large tub (perfect after a long day of adventuring). Stackable washer/dryer is located in the studio available for your use. Gas fireplace and semi private deck make for a relaxing afternoon. Parking for one car, snow removal included. The space Great location for an outdoor adventure getaway or relaxing weekend. Short drive to Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine, Homewood and Tahoe City Cross Country ski area.  *** We do not allow dogs, if you bring your dog you automatically will be charged a $200 non negotiable fee*** The studio apartment is located on the third floor of our home, therefore we expect guests to respect this cozy space and its contents in the same way they would in their own home. Please- no loud parties or large gatherings. And please be respectful to our neighbors.  Please note there is no TV, wifi is included along with some good old fashioned board games. * Please note that we do not have central air conditioning, we have a portable window air conditioning unit to cool the space. In the summer we are out and about in the yard and our deck, so while the studio itself is private, you may hear us. We do have a friendly dog so you may hear him or see him in the yard. There is a trailhead at the top of the block perfect for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and great hiking/ mountain biking access in the summer. Barton Creek State Park is easily accessible and offers a diverse trail system with numerous opportunities for trail connections to Northstar, Truckee, Tahoe Rim Trail and Olympic Valley. We will pay the 10% Placer County Occupancy Tax. Other things to note *Because of the stairs, third story deck and stone fireplace children are not recommended. Not recommended for adults who have issues with stairs. *** We do not allow dogs, if you bring your dog you automatically will be charged a $200 non negotiable fee*** Winter: This is the high Sierra, please be aware of changing weather and road conditions and be appropriately prepared. Please note that it is illegal to park on the road November 1 - May 1 or in anyone's plowed spot that is not your own. The parking spot is located approximately 50 feet from the house and may be icy. This area is plowed by a plow company and plowing times may vary. Shovels are available for your use. We will not refund due to weather unless the interstate closes for a period of time.
