Village property - Wayside Cottage DH8 9NL

Wayside Holiday Cottage is a delightful, cosy stone built cottage in the heart of Edmundbyers. With a log burner, charming original stone and wood features throughout and a stunning mezzanine bedroom. Minimum stay 3 nights. (Sorry, no pets allowed). The space A charming stone built cottage located in the village a 1 minute drive from Burnside. Fully equipped stone flagged kitchen, living room with log burner,and mezzanine bedroom with king size bed and velux windows for star gazing in this dark sky area. The en- suite bathroom has a corner bath with shower and there is also a dressing room. There is a small paved area outside with a table and chairs to enjoy the sun until late at night in the summer, and an out building suitable for bike storage etc. (Please ask for keys). There is also on-street parking right outside the cottage. A starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits will be provided, as well as logs in the winter. Bedding and towels are also included. The village shop is just next door for any other provisions including logs and e-bike hire and the Punchbowl Inn is a 1 minute walk away. Please note the minimum length of stay is 3 nights. Please note, although there is wifi, the only reliable phone service in the village is from EE. Unfortunately we do not allow pets at Wayside Cottage. Other things to note PET POLICY I’m sorry, but we don’t allow pets to stay in out apartments at Burnside.
