The Barn at the Old George and Dragon

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail. The space 'The Barn' is a quirky place which was for many years part of the old pub. Before it was converted, it had not been touched for over 120 years and the last landlord, had kept his racehorse there. Its conversion however, was very major and it is superbly insulated and decorated throughout. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom area is restricted however and guests have to bend down to get in. This will be a problem to some people that are disabled and therefore is not recommended. We apologise for this. The Hot tub is available for clients on an exclusive basis. This is all included. Guest access 'The Barn' and the Hot tub area, are completely private and not overlooked. During your stay these are exclusively yours and are not shared.
