I restored my country house in 2018, a corner of paradise for those looking for tranquility and well-being, suitable for families with small children, couples or even groups of friends! I look forward to seeing you my land and sharing my “paradise” with you. The space The house belonged to my great-grandparents, originally from Casalvieri, who moved there around 1915. Ancient stories tell that the house, before the purchase by my great-grandparents, was a convent of the nineteenth century, but I have no written testimony about it. You can find on the ground floor the masonry kitchen with furniture created specifically by a local carpenter, the living room with sofa and TV, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom that, although smaller than the upper rooms, can accommodate 2 people. Upstairs (accessible via the ancient stone staircase), there are instead 3 large bedrooms: 1 large double room with private bathroom and shower (in this room you can add an extra bed if you need), 1 double room and 1 smaller room with a bed in a square and a half, which is ideal for the stay of boys. The bright bathroom upstairs has a whirlpool shower. You can choose the room you like best if you do not have to share the house with other people. Upstairs you will also find a large wall cabinet along the corridor where you can leave your suitcases. You will have a large garden and if you need, also a covered garage generally used by us. Outside the house, under a canopy there is the laundry area which is also an area where to find shade in summer since the entire house has south exposure and is generally very sunny. Other things to note The house is surrounded by greenery and has a private access road from the main road. The main road is not very busy and if you are a sportsman you can go for a walk or a jog. If you are lucky, by the side of the road there is a forest where you can find and collect, depending on the season, mushrooms, asparagus and blackberries! To stay on topic, I tell you that at home you will have the opportunity in the summer to collect and eat the fruits from the trees, such as peaches, apricots and cherries. In winter, you can pick lemons directly from the tree near the main entrance. The house has south exposure and during the summer it is very sunny, but the interior is always cool even if there is no air conditioning system because the stone walls with which the house was built are very thick. Only for winter is there to consider the extra cost for heating that is not included in the Airbnb price.
