The space Our cottage is a converted barn in the grounds of a 500 year old farmhouse, called Sheephouse Manor. Located in the countryside, yet only 2 miles from Maidenhead town centre, and Cookham Village is 1 mile away.We are close to Windsor, Dorney (rowing 2012 Olympic venue), and only 30 minutes by train to central London. Plenty of room in our 2 acre gardens to relax, and admire our chickens. I am offering a one bedroom self contained cottage which is fully furnished, and will sleep up to 3 adults. The cottage is available to hire for 1 week minimum, and you can bring your pets too for an additional cost per pet of £15.00 first night, £5.00 night per pet thereafter The cottage has an enclosed private patio or garden... The cottage has 1 double (Queen size) bed, and a single bed in the main bedroom, and a small twin bedded room with en-suite bath. The cottage has a large lounge/dining room,TV and DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen, and large walk in en-suite shower. There is access to a shared laundry room with washer and dryer which is Coin operated. There is a local bus to Maidenhead Town Centre and the Train station, which runs every hour from 8.00am until 6.00pm. We are quite out in the country, so a car is preferable, or you can borrow a bicycle to tour about locally. Some peak weeks are individually priced.
