Here you will find hills for all levels and 4 terrain parks. In total there are 21 lifts with 39 slopes. Geilo Heisen starts only about 200 meters from the cabin. It is easy to walk there, and it is possible to "ski out" back to the cabin through the forest behind the cabin. For cross-country skiing you can either take the lift to Geilotoppen, take the great walk around Ustedalsfjorden below the city center and it is possible to use the ski bus to get up towards Prestholtseter and Geilohovda. There are over 500 km of groomed cross-country trails in the area, so the possibilities are many. There are also many other activities in Geilo in summer and winter. Some of the things Geilo can offer are sledding hills, dog sledding, snowshoe trekking, canoeing and snowmobile safari. During summer, you can go horseback riding, try rafting, fishing in 34 fishing lakes, and play golf, in addition to fantastic hiking areas. Here you can go on nice hikes directly from the cabin, take the chairlift to Geilotoppen to hike from there, take the train into the mountains and hike back or take the car and start the hike further into the mountains. In the mountains there are several cabins with food and drinks. We recommend testing the sour milk porridge at Prestholtseter. Should the weather be bad, you will also find 2 bowling alleys at Geilo and Adventure Bath. There are many restaurants and cafes to choose from in Geilo, so there is something for everyone.
