Lovely house with garden bordering dunes & beach

StrandhuisGijs: Our lovely holiday house (2-7p) with a beautiful garden neighbouring direct access to dunes and beach. The property is 4 generations in the family and suitable for everyone, with/ without children, who wants to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere & great facilities in the house and its surroundings. You will be sleeping in boxspring beds, taste great coffee & yummie breakfast, enjoy the outdoor kitchen/BBQ, warm up in the evenings by the fire. Check out the StrandhuisGijs website or fb! The space Directly from the house you can go for long beach walks/rides and stop at one of the cosy beach houses. This is what we love to do most! There is some fine dining close by (this is the area with the highest density of Michelin star restaurants in the country) and the hinterland is worth visiting with historic cities like Brugge, Gent and Middelburg, reachable by ferry. When years ago the opportunity arose to take over Marieke's grandmother's house, we didn't have to think about it for long. Marieke grew up here and the house has been in the family for 4 generations. Above all, it has the ideal location for us: in the village with all the amenities within walking distance, views of the dunes and less than 50 meters from the beach! The first 2 years we spent a lot of time on the thorough renovation. With great pleasure, energy and help from others we have been able to create the spacious vacation home we had in mind. In the meantime, we spend many weekends and holidays here. Cozy with friends or just relax with our boys Gijs and Benjamin.
