Vacation home at Kalkberg

Our cozy and fully equipped 65 sqm apartment on the 2nd floor of our 230-year-old half-timbered house, right on the Kalkberg, within walking distance of the open-air theater, Noctalis, downtown, shopping and Lake Segeberg, is now finally completed. It is ideally located for visiting the Karl May Games, concerts or to get to know the Segeberg region, the Baltic Sea, as well as Lübeck (20 minutes) and Hamburg (45 minutes). The space The apartment is divided into 1 large bedroom with a large double bed (160 x 200 cm) with 2 slatted frames and 2 high-quality mattresses (07/18), 1 small bedroom with a dresser and a Hemnes day bed (80 x 200/160 x 200 cm), 1 living/dining room with 1 large sofa, a kitchen and a 04/2025 renovated bathroom with shower. A cozy south-facing balcony in the quiet courtyard invites you to have breakfast or relax. We also offer a travel cot with mattress for the very small guests. Guest access The apartment can be reached via a separate entrance in the garden/courtyard of the house via the balcony. Other things to note Our house has been independently renovated by us since 2014 and there are still some “construction sites” open that will not affect the stay. In February 2024, we were able to complete the modernization of our apartment: Now it finally has 2 independent bedrooms for 2 people each, a living and dining room, a kitchen-living room and a full bathroom. The bathroom, which was previously accessible via the large bedroom, is now connected to the hallway. In addition, the living and dining room was reduced in size so that another small bright bedroom could be created, in which there is a Hemnes day bed (80 x 200 m or pulled out 160 x 200 m) and a dresser. Since 2024, we have been diligently renovating the house again. Now we have completed the bathroom of the apartment in 04/2025 after 4 months of renovation. In addition, the flat roof above the bathroom was renewed. A balcony canopy is also to be built in the next few months, so that you can also stay outside on warm rainy days. It should also be noted that bed linen and towels must be brought along. Otherwise, if provided, €10/stay/person!!! Unfortunately no pets are permitted.
