The space The Annex in Hanevik offers a perfect base for your exploration of Bergen and the fjords. Enjoy a calm atmosphere in nice and quiet surroundings. The woods can offer beautiful walks. With our rowing boat you can enjoy the surroundings from the sea or you can make a BBQ in the garden. Bergen has of course a lot of attractions, but our guests use the Annex as base for exploring the fjords and the coastal landscapes around Bergen. We are located in a rural area, and the closest foodstore is 5 km away. Askøy is also called "little Norway" for its varied landscapes. It is rocky and barren in the north-west and green and fertile in the south-east. It has its own attractions, such as nice hikes in the woods, lakes and small mountains. There is a golf-course, kayak rental and other activities on the beautiful, connected island Herdla at the northern tip of Askøy. The Askøy bridge connect our islands to the mainland. There are 20 buses pr day, leaving from the main bus-station which is next to the railway station and where the bus from the airport also stops. The bus takes about one hour. We have one other house for rent, the Icehouse is listed as "The Icehouse - peaceful by the fjord, near Bergen ". Please make sure that you book the one you want. Guest access Behind the Annex is a small garden at your disposal. There is a table and chairs, and barbecue on request. If you like, you can borrow the boat - max 4 persons at the time.
