Our 1 Bedroom Furnished Apartment is charming and comfortable, with a Separate Entrance, and easy access to downtown Benicia. Our Apartment includes a Kitchenette (no stove), Full Bath, TV's in both Living Room & Bed Room, and plenty of space and total privacy. We offer Free access to Netflix, Prime, and Hulu. Our apartment also features comfortable sofa furniture in the Living Room, and a Queen Size Bed in the Bedroom. Plus Free & Secure High-Speed Wi-Fi. We are 1 block from Downtown Benicia, with a historic Main Street ambiance, shops, restaurants, bars and a waterfront that is truly exceptional. Benicia is home to California's First Capital building in 1851, which is one block from our home, as well as the "final stop on the line" for the historic Pony Express, and the famous Benicia Arsenal, a US Military Fort dating back to the 1840's. Benicia is a fabulous place to visit and enjoy, and the perfect place to use as your "Base Camp" to explore the World Class San Francisco Bay Area. Our apartment is attached (1st level downstairs), but completely private and separate from our main house. You may come and go as you please, with a separate entrance. We will be available on site to help you with anything you need---restaurants, stores, nightclubs and bars, directions, things to see and do, and little out of the way spots that Kathy & I like to visit that makes life in the Bay Area so charming and very special. Guest access As our Guest, you will have our entire apartment that has a private, separate entrance. There is free parking in our driveway behind our home, and on the same level as the apartment. You can also park on the street in front. Also as our Guest, you may use our front and side porch. Please feel free to enjoy a glass of wine or a snack on our porch, and our really great view of the water. Other things to note The weather in Benicia is typically about 60F at night and 75-80F during the day in the Summer, and about 45-50F at night and 60-70F during the day in the Winter. Classic San Francisco cool nights and warm days, except when it's NOT !! (LOL). Weather can change in the Bay Area very quickly, so dress in layers and be prepared. Please be sure to bring a jacket for when "Mr. Fog" decides to roll in, and prepare for unexpected hot or cold in this area. As W.C. Fields was quoted to say: "The coldest days I have spent, is a summer in San Francisco." It's a fantastic climate we live in, but just prepare for hot, cold, and everything in between.
