After a long renovation process, I managed to convert part of my garage into my dream tiny house/apartment. It is a place where I myself enjoy living. The entrance is rather atypical. Through the garage door and basement, you enter a cosy little apartment. You will see that it is a sous-sol apartment, half below and half above ground, with a view of the garden. The flat is located next to the provincial park of Kessel-Lo and is 15 minutes from Leuven Central Station. The space It is a cosy flat just behind the provincial park and within walking distance of Leuven. All facilities are available. You can park your car for free in the nearby street, just 300 metres away. Bicycles can be stored in the garage. Guest access The flat is for your exclusive use and is not shared. Access is via the garage door. Other things to note Tourist tax: Leuven like every other city has done a new law change since 2023 regarding tourist tax (also for airbnb). It amounts to 3.5€ per person per night. This is not charged to the lodging sector. "It is the individual customer who pays a kind of TAX for everything he or she enjoys in Leuven."
