Large double room close to Lewes station

Large double bedroom in 2-bed flat very close to Lewes station, perfect for access to Lewes town centre, Glyndebourne, Sussex Uni, Brighton, trains to London, the South Downs and more! I've lived in Lewes for many years and happy to advise on local sights, transport etc or let you do your own thing. Happy to consider ongoing stays, whether Monday - Friday or for longer, so please contact me to discuss options. Would appreciate a bit of info about you and what you're looking for too! The space Modern two-bed flat, what it lacks in glamour outside it makes up in cosiness and convenience inside! All the delights of Lewes are on your doorstep, from lovely riverside walks, historic sites, and Glyndebourne Opera House, to almost infinite pubs and coffee shops. And of course Brighton and the South Downs are just along the road. It's a beautiful and friendly town, perfect for exploring for short or longer-term stay and the ideal weekend getaway. The bedroom is well set up with a comfortable double bed and storage space. I don't usually share my living room or kitchen with short term guests but can discuss if you're staying more than a couple of nights. Potentially room for a couple to stay too so can discuss that if needed. Guest access You will have access to a shared bathroom and tea / coffee making facilities. Fridge, washer/dryer, towel rail etc can also be available if needed. I'm happy to share the kitchen and sitting room with longer term guests too. But you'll find everything you need just minutes away - Lewes is a very accessible town, easily explored on foot and with beautiful countryside and the coastline just minutes away. The high street, Cliffe pedestrian area, Depot cinema, countryside, Lewes Castle and coffee shops are all under 10 mins walk away. During your stay Happy to give you some space or to provide site-seeing suggestions/local info as preferred. Other things to note This is a non-smoking flat, both indoor and outdoors (including the balcony.) If you know Lewes you'll know there are beautiful buildings on every corner and always something new to discover. Further afield there is Charleston farmhouse, the South Downs national park and Seven Sisters and of course all the shiny lights of Brighton and the seaside!
