Luxury Alentejo Estate&Countryhouse

HERDADE ÁGUA D'ALTE is an idylic secluded retreat located in the south of Portugal in the Alentejo Region, Évora District. The house respects the local arquitecture and environment that surrounds it, and is furnished with attention to detail and confort. There is a total of 8 double rooms, but prices change accordendly the number of guests and is based until 2 people per room sharing the main beds. Extra beds for children must be required before the reservation (35€/bed/night). The space The House is close to the main attractions of the Region such as Évora, (Unesco World Heritage), Monsaraz, Vila Viçosa, Elvas, Estremoz and Alqueva lake. The Estate of 80 ha, is formed of olive groves, forest, pine and cork trees. BEDROOMS All the rooms are on the ground flour with direct acess to terraces with garden sets. There are 2 suites, 3 suites deluxe, 1 vila with 1 bedroom and 2 double rooms with 1 bathroom. (these last 2 are ideal for a couple and 2 children as the entrance is trough the room with 1 bed) All the rooms, have air conditionning and TV, comes with luxury linens & bedding, towels, shower gel, hairdryer. The 5 suites and the vila have minibars. DINING & LIVING AREAS Directly accessible to the main patio yard, the large living room has a sitting area with fireplace, library, TV. The dining area has room for up to 16 guests around the table. An alfresco dining&lounge areas, aside the swimming pool, with an african twist, create a relaxing ambiance amid spectacular views of Serra D’Ossa and is an excelent option for lunches. Here you can find a refrigerator. KITCHEN Functional in its layout, the kitchen, with a big island, is opened to the dining/living room and features all kind of appliances, up market cutlery for meals, and all the crockery and glassware required for a home cooked meal abroad. Guests cannot invite other people to the house without a previous authorization. Aside the guests part, there is the Host house. The published photos belongs to the guests part. Other things to note Cultural speaking, the Alentejo is particular known either for the medieval cities and villages you can find everywhere with is own castle, or roman period . Évora, the capital, Unesco World Heritage, is an amazing city where you can visit lots of monuments and Diana romanTemple. The other major attraction is the Gastronomy (mediterranean), the Wines and the olive oil of Alentejo, with a lot of Restaurants and Wineries to visit and having wine and olive oil tasting.
