The Hopper's Room - Period annexe, Rural Headcorn.

The Hopper’s Room is en suite and is a lovely old building with a vaulted oak framed ceiling. We are situated in a lovely rural spot yet close to many special places to visit. To name but a few; Sissinghurst Gardens Chapeldown Vinyard Bedgebury Leeds Castle Bodiam Castle Tenterden A continental breakfast is available at an extra cost. The space Hopper’s is a lovely period building with a vaulted oak framed ceiling. We’re not quite sure for what it was originally intended for but think it was used for hop pickers who came to Kent for working holidays. It has its own en-suite shower room and a King Size bed and also has an outlook onto The Orchard. Nearby in the pantry there is a small microwave and a fridge where we leave milk for tea and coffee for you and room for your own food and bottle of wine! Relax in bed and watch the HD TV or take advantage of the complementary Wi-Fi. POLITE NOTE. This is not suitable as a family room. Guest access All of the bothy and en-suite is available for guests. During your stay We are on site and available for any help needed. Other things to note COVID19 RESPONSE; We have given much thought and planning to implement new requirements, ensuring your staying is not only relaxed but safe. We only offer self-contained units totally separate from the main house and hence we are offering a low risk escape into the countryside – something so many could benefit from at this time. We have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and therefore we are putting the following procedures in place; Thorough cleaning and sanitising routines in line with the recently issued Government and UK Hospitality guidelines, including regular disinfection of heavy touch points and high contact equipment. High temperature washing of all bed linen and towels. Extra cleaning materials, hand sanitiser and anti bacterial wipes. We trust you will understand that we will not perform a daily room service during your stay in order to protect your personal space. However new towels and other supplies will be available on request. To offer maximum protection for our guests decorative bed items (bed runners and cushions) will be removed from our beds.
