The Thunderbird is at the rear of The Mayhew property with amazing views of the Harbor as well as Sawtooth Bluff. It is 2 full floors, an enormous full kitchen, a rustic dining table that seats 9 with harbor views as you dine. This unit is dog friendly, There is a 1 time $50 per dog cleaning fee + tax that is required. Dogs only, no cats or any other animals. 2 dog maximum. Please let us know at the time of booking regarding your dog, age size and breed. The charges will be added after you check in. The Thunderbird has a main bedroom with a king bed with easily the best harbor view in town, a bunk room that sleeps 5, and a pullout Queen bed with a memory foam mattress that sleeps 2 on the main level. The Mayhew Inn is right in the heart of downtown Grand Marais on beautiful Harbor Park. It is a great home base for enjoying the gentle activity of the Village or easily getting away for day trips to the BWCA. Drive up the Gunflint Trail for day adventures and hikes. Even though The Mayhew Inn is right downtown on the harbor front, it is graced with a gorgeous secluded backyard with courtyard areas, rooftop decks with breathtaking views, fabulous restaurants and shops all within walking distance.
