Close to Rhinebeck, Bard College, Tivoli, Omega Institute, Woodstock, Hudson & Amtrak-Rhinecliff. The space Go up one flight of stairs to your private sanctuary. Thoughtfully decorated in hues of grey, take a few moments to breathe in and decompress as you enter the Studio; take in the sights and sounds that surround you. A comfortable sofa and armchair greet you as you enter; the dining table/two chairs are to the right. The kitchenette area, to the right of the entrance, is fully equipped with new appliances: refrigerator (with a separate freezer), microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster/convection oven, and plates, cups and utensils. And for the chilled bottle of wine in the fridge-two lovely wine glasses. Complimentary freshly ground coffee from local coffee roaster, regular and decaf tea, and bottles of water and flavored seltzer are also provided for your enjoyment. The aroma of lightly scented potpourri will beckon you to the windows where there is a very comfortable Queen size bed and soft pillows (all linens are provided); extra pillows and blanket are available. At the foot of the bed sits a full sized dresser with ample drawer space. There is an open closet area with several hangers; iron/board upon request. The private bath/shower is one flight down; Hotel Quality Spa robes and slippers are provided for your ease and comfort in accessing the lower level facilities. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and hairdryer (on lower shelf of vanity) are also provided, as well as a set of towels for each guest (bath, hand and washcloth), which can be found on the shelf opposite the shower. In the morning, as you wake to the sound of birds (instead of an alarm clock), enjoy a pot of coffee from Red Hook's own J.B. Peel, or brew some tea, and then head down the road to Rose Hill Farm (.6 miles) for fresh produce (U-pick available) and scrumptious home-made pies and deserts. Guest access Please park your vehicle in the driveway to the left of the garage doors. Host will either meet and greet you and provide access to the Studio when you arrive, or provide instructions on contact-less entry. The private entrance is in the back of the house-just follow the stone pathway to the left of the garage. Feel free to enjoy the backyard space, where there is a table and two chairs a few steps from the private entrance; comfy lounge chairs are also available. The grounds surrounding the house are yours to explore. Other things to note The grounds have a special vibe and energy, with lots of birds, butterflies, squirrels, and an occasional deer coming to visit. Please enjoy the tranquility and peace that surround you.
