“A Pebble’s Reach” from Cromer Pier and beach
Description
“A Pebble’s Reach” is a quirky one bedroom flat which forms part of what was once a fisherman’s cottage in Garden Street which leads down to Cromer Pier and the beach. This busy little street has independent shops, a pub, cafes and takeaways. Although the building itself is over 200 years old the decor is bright and colourful and is inspired by the contemporary nautical artwork on the walls. Ideally situated to visit shows on the pier, take long beach walks, and explore further along the coast. The space The flat is on the first floor and accessed from a flight of stairs from street level. The lounge is small but bright and has two modern sofas, a wall mounted TV, wi-fi, and a coffee table. It is ideal for people watching from the small dining table and chairs in the bay window from which there is an oblique sea view at the end of Garden Street. The kitchen is compact but has an electric cooker with gas hob, a microwave, fridge with ice box, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board and washing machine. It isn’t a big space but is equipped for basic meals and snacks. Various places to eat are on the doorstep and Breakers Café (opposite) offer our guests 10% off breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and are happy for you to take meals back to the flat. Steep stairs from the kitchen lead up to the spacious, bright and airy bedroom and separate bathroom. The shaker style king sized bed has colourful bedding and there are two occasional chairs and a coffee table in the bay window with another oblique sea view and for more people watching! Please note that the bathroom has a bath but NO SHOWER. Guest access There isn’t any parking with the property but there are several car parks within a short walk A week long permit can be purchased for £28.00 which can also be used in other North Norfolk towns and beaches. There is free but limited (especially during the summer months) roadside parking nearby. With the railway station a level 15 minute walk and the Bus Station (offering a great Coast Hopper service east and west along the coast) only 10 minutes walk away, arriving and travelling by Public Transport means that you can park up for the duration of your visit or leave the car behind. Other things to note Live music is played in nearby pubs on occasions (usually weekends) and the proximity to them means that there can be noise.
