The initial property visits were more interested and served to fill the few bad weather days on holiday. However, this changed from year to year! In the spring of 2014 it was time… When visiting the "Villa Finca Costa Blanca El Refugio" in Monte Pego, I was quickly clear – if at all possible, so the circumstances should at somehow allow it, so that this and no other should become the dream house. A finished villa/finca, built in 1994 by a German architect, used as a holiday destination, exclusively by him and his wife with fantastic sea views and the surrounding mountains. Down to the last detail with a lot of love, charm, high-quality construction performances & interior design, thoughtfully & implemented. So wait a little more... Wooden beams, white walls & handmade terracotta tiles characterize the typical Spanish style of this finca. Solid real wood doors, well-kept bathrooms, high-quality furniture and the beautiful landscape leave nothing to be desired. Important for me: I also want to rent to holiday guests, friends, acquaintances. Not least because of years of renting holiday homes and fincas myself, I know what is important to me as a guest when I rent a holiday property. High-quality,“ luxurious” but still not insanely expensive it should be. Well maintained and clean I want to find it as a guest. Bed linen, towels and internet access should be a matter of course today. Be on vacation but feel at home with all amenities! So enjoy the dream location on Monte Pego, in a very exclusive and well-kept residential area - looks from the terraces and the blooming garden into the wide valley with countless orange groves & rice plantations, on the left unique mountain ranges that will shine in various colors in the sunlight and will also enchant you... - let your eyes wander over the sea to the bay of Valencia. Refresh yourself in the pool or jacuzzi, take a sunbath on one of the terraces or just relax in the shade. There are also no shortages of activities: golf enthusiasts offer numerous golf courses in the vicinity. Tennis enthusiasts come with 5 tennis courts that belong to the residential area and to reserve for their guests at their expense. The little kiddies but also the “big young at heart” enjoy the nearby water & adventure parks or numerous water activities such as jet skiing, surfing on the beach or rather a boat trip to Ibiza in just 2 hours, Mallorca or Formentera? BBQ evenings in the outdoor BBQ area, in the cooler season a cozy log fire in the house or the adjacent tea house with antique wood stove complete the holiday day.
