Sóltún is located in the Geysir area. Which is a beautiful 120 square meter (1292 sq. feet) luxury house , only around 110 km or around 68 miles out of Reykjavík and around 10 minutes drive from the main attractions in Iceland, Gullfoss and Geysir. Good place with a good view to see the northern lights. Views from all windows. The house is 40 min. drive from Selfoss the small village on the main road nr 1. you turn off road nr 1 to road nr 35 right before you reach Selfoss. The space The location is very central for the main attractions in south Iceland such as Gullfoss and Geysir , Flúðir, Laugarvatn, Þingvellir, Skálholt and main services such as shops, restaurant, cafes, Pub, bank, swimming pools, spa, golf courses, horse rentals etc. Guest access The house is bright and spacious with a nice entrance hall with large wardrobe, modern style open kitchen, dining area, sitting area in the living room, 4 bedrooms with modern tailored bulk beds, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobes and a door out to the terrace, bathroom with a shower, a TV in the living room with a sofa bed and two bathrooms with shower washer is in the bathroom. The living room / dining area has windows to the East and the south so it has spectacular view can be enjoyed. Around the house is a terrace with a beautiful view and a private playground for kids with swings and sandbox. Other things to note Even though the house is central for the south-west Iceland and is close to the main road to Geysir and Gullfoss , it is very quiet around the house.
