Like/Follow us: Brasher Family Farm The space When you stay at the Brasher Family Farm, you are getting the entire 3 bedroom, two bath home with a complete kitchen, coffee maker, laundry room, living room, and dining room all to yourself. You are welcome to bring your own blowup mattress when bringing more than 6 guests. There are extra blankets and Queen sheets in bedrooms 1, 3, and living room end table. Also, 2 extra pillows and a blanket in the TV dresser drawers. There is a large covered back porch to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere this home has to offer. Many guests have enjoyed the peacefulness while watching the cows and seasonal birds during their morning coffee or tea on the back porch. No Wi-Fi here...…. This is country living. There are no big-city HOA rules or city ordinances dictating what the neighborhood should look like in this area. Some people are very neat and tidy and other people.....not so much. Rest assured, Brasher Family Farm is in the very neat and tidy category! Most homes are separated by a bit of land in between. You will drive down 2 roads that are as we say "back roads". They are asphalt paved but sometimes they may need some work. Occasionally, there may be a wondering cow or deer crossing. You might also see ATV's or tractors driving these roads. Please, drive slow and be on the lookout. The Brasher Family Farm is our quiet home away from busy reality, our place to get back to the basics ...…. Live, Laugh, and Love with family & friends! Cows may be in the pasture. Please do not go out there without permission first. Absolutely NO swimming allowed in the ponds! If permission is granted for going out into the pasture, you are entering at your own risk! You may encounter snakes, ticks, coyotes, feral hogs, and other potentially dangerous wildlife! Please keep your distance! Other wildlife to be seen around the neighborhood are chickens & roosters. Humming Bird season: March - September Food recipe - 1 cup sugar : 4 cups water good for 2 weeks Deer season: Nov-Jan LOOK ONLY Blackberry season: peak July - August Guest access Entire house except garage. Other things to note Grand Saline’s Salt Festival is in June. Canton’s Autumn Festival is in October.
