The Signal box is close to the Galloway forest, river walks, located in the quiet countryside of South Ayrshire. It is part of the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire biosphere embracing the natural environment and cultural identity of everyone working and living in the area. The cabin is ideally located for visits to the Galloway forest, Turnberry golf course, Culzean Castle, outdoor water-sports, fishing, trips to the Ailsa Craig, and The Coig tourist routes. The space A cosy log cabin nestled amongst the trees on the border of the Galloway forest, ideal for romantic getaways and some time with nature. The cabin is located on the grounds of Pinwherry Station, which was an operating train station until the late 70’s. The Signal Box is designed around the station environment as the railway line is still functioning today. Guest access Located 15 minutes drive from the town of Girvan and 40 minutes from Newton Stewart. It is also 35 minutes to Cairnryan ferry connection to Belfast. Private parking available. There are public transport options but timings are limited. Other things to note There is a double sofa bed within the cabin but for the best experience, we suggest only 2 guests or families with young children.
