Stunning views from the living room stretch right across the Peak District; with no exaggeration, you really can see most of the Peak District from here. This luxury retreat is located on an upland sheep farm and offers character, charm, and convenience. Only a short walk to the village pub, and close to all the main Peak District attractions. Ideal retreat for honeymoon, romantic break or special occasion. The space Luxury open-plan living for two. The main living area has a velvet sofa and chair, in front of a double sided log-burner, so you can also enjoy with warmth of the fire in the bedroom. With underfloor heating throughout, you're sure to be toasty. A well equipped kitchen and dining table is the perfect setting for a meal for two. The bedroom enjoys the character of original stone walls with a super comfy bed. This leads directly to an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath for a good long soak. There is also a separate shower if you prefer. Outside is a private garden with stunning views, patio furniture, and a BBQ. BBQ fuel, additional logs, and farm produced meats can be bought directly from the farm, so you'll have everything you need for dining al fresco. Guest access In addition to your own private space, we have a games-room with table tennis and pool tables, along with a selection of board games, children's toys, and local information. Within the games-room, there is a boot room for drying wet walking gear, along with a mini farm shop selling our own farm produced meats and other locally produced artisan products. Around the farm are various communal seating areas to make the most of the views and the environment, including a fire pit in the woods, and sunset corner where, as the name suggests, you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine in the summer. In the summer months we provide a selection of outdoor games so you can kick a ball around with the kids, or a game of rounders in one of the fields. Other things to note BBQ fuel, additional logs, and farm produced meats can be purchased from us, so everything is here if you fancy cooking al fresco. We can arrange private dining experiences to cater for all dietary needs - perfect for that special occasion. We can also recommend locally sourced products that can be delivered to your door. Please note that dogs aren't allowed at this property.
