The property is a comfortable and cosy semi detached property just 5 miles from Stornoway, offering that home from home experience to make your trip to the Outer Hebrides memorable. There is a multifuel inset stove to relax in front of after exploring Lewis and the surrounding areas, it’s so cosy you may not want to leave! There are 2 beaches within walking distance of the property, Gress Beach (25 mins) or Coll Beach (20 mins) be sure to put them on “your must” visit list. The space A spacious three bedroom house with all you need for a comfortable stay. An excellent base for exploring both Lewis and Harris. The main town of Stornoway is a short 10 min car journey away, so easy access to plenty of great restaurants should you wish to dine out during your stay. The bedrooms are as follows; 1 Kingsize (First Floor) 1 Double (First Floor) 1 Single room (Ground Floor) Please note the Single room has an extra pull out bed available if required, it is a cosy and compact room when both beds are set up, so please be mindful of this when booking. Please note there is a £25 charge for use of the pull out bed (this is for entire stay, not per night) and will be sent to you after your booking is confirmed. A travel cot can also be provided on request. The property boasts a wet room bathroom located on ground floor, right next to the Single room. A fully equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hob and fan oven. There will be tea/coffee, sugar and milk awaiting all guests. The cosy sitting room has an extendable dining table, comfortably seating 6 people, where you can enjoy lovely sea views across Broadbay. At the rear of the property there is a utility room, which is ideal for leaving muddy boots, wetsuits and any other outdoor clothing. Outside there is space for 2 vehicles, the spaces are off road and solely for the use of our guests. There is a large garden area with plenty space to relax in the warm summer evenings with a cool beverage. We will contact you on arrival day should it be available any earlier. Other things to note Sundays are still observed as a day of rest throughout the islands, so fewer amenities are open and available. However, there is a fuel station in Stornoway open from 11am till 4pm, & Tesco supermarket operates on reduced hours (Midday - 8pm) . There are a number of restaurants also open along with Chinese & Indian takeaways. Check out time is 10am. Please note we limit the number of dog reservations we accept per season, so please contact us directly prior to booking should you wish to bring your furry friend, and we will do our best to accommodate but please note this is not guaranteed. Pets are charged at £25 per dog per stay, additional fee.
