Doveholes Barn - Countryside and Character

A character barn conversion in stunning countryside with lots to do nearby (DE6 3LF) Fri and Mon are usual changeover days ( different requirements please ask). Sleeps 4 people but you are welcome to bring airbeds for two people to sleep in the lounge as well so max 6 adults in total. Cots available. CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR WEEKS NOW AVAILABLE - full weeks only, £1050 per week. The space A character barn conversion ideal for a family holiday. Located in a shared courtyard setting with only a handful of other properties around, a mile out of the quaint village of Kirk Ireton and close to Carsington Water reservoir (watersports centre and circular walking/cycling route). A footpath leads directly from the farm over the fields to the village. The Peak District is almost on our doorstep offering incredible scenery, hiking and many outdoor activities. Rural, but certainly not isolated, Doveholes is close to the popular towns of Wirksworth, Ashbourne and Bakewell plus a wealth of historic houses (Chatsworth, Haddon, Hardwick) and family attractions. The city of Derby and Alton Towers are also within easy reach. We've got some great eating and drinking pubs nearby too. Dogs may be permitted at the owners discretion, please check your requirements with us. Need more room? Have a look at our other property The Grange which sleeps 14+ people. We like our guests to think of Doveholes as their home away from home and we love to see it being enjoyed by all different groups. We live across the yard so we are on hand to assist if required but far enough away for you to have privacy. Please be aware that our other holiday let The Grange does take large group bookings and sometimes stag and hen dos. Please check with us if you would like to know what type of booking we have in there for your dates. The Grange is on the far side of the yard from Doveholes so any disturbance should be minimal.
