This is a clean, roomy space with plenty of windows in a safe neighborhood in central Merritt Island. We have a neighborhood park in the back of the neighborhood with water access to fish or kayak within walking distance. We are a short drive to great dining and shopping in Cocoa Village. Great bars, restaurants, and charter fishing at Cape Canaveral port. Or beautiful beaches with many attractions in Cocoa Beach. Also about 45 min drive to Orlando and all it has to offer! This suite is private and quiet. You have your own driveway and entrance and feel free to walk to the neighborhood park for nice river views and if you want. It is a mother in law suite connected to our home but blocked off and you have your own driveway and private entrance. The bedroom has a king size bed with closet and hangars and a tv connected to cable. The bedroom has a door to separate it from the other room which has a kitchenette with a sink, 2 burners, toaster oven, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. All dish ware, coffee and supplies are provided. This room has a dining table, futon, tv with cable and a closet with extra chairs for table and blow up mattress for extra guest. This room also has a full bathroom connected. We live next door and grew up in Merritt Island and we love to give our favorite recommendations for restaurants, bars, beaches, boat captains, and activities to ensure you have the best possible stay! We live in a neighborhood in central Merritt Island. Their is a nice park with tennis and basketball courts next to Sykes Creek with kayak access in the back of our neighborhood and I have 2 kayaks that I’m happy to lend you if you let me know ahead of your stay. We are in between two Publix grocery stores and 5 min from Walmart or Target for shopping. We have plenty of restaurants close by or you could take a short drive to Cocoa Village, Cape Canaveral, or Cocoa Beach. We do have bus transit with a stop in the front of our neighborhood as well. Feel free to ask us our favorite restaurants and bars! We are within walking/biking distance to a few restaurants, a park, bowling alley but a car or Uber might be your best option especially during summer. We also have a bus transit that can take you to the beach. Laundry mat is 2 min down the road
