Grant Cottage, historic & charming Ohio River home

Experience a slice of Americana in this 200 year-old historic river front cottage. The house is perfect for gathering groups of families and friends to experience the history of the town or play on the river, surrounding creeks and the countryside. The space The home, which played host to President U.S. Grant as a boy, has a tremendous amount of character and charm. The front porch and the living and dining area around the hearth are the home's most outstanding features. Portions of the house are 200 years old, we are continuously working to restore and add charm to every room. The location is in the heart of Ripley's Historic waterfront and a short walk to museum sites and a couple of restaurants and bars. Guest access You will have access to the full home, front porch, back porch, back yard and riverside dock area. All areas are to be used at your own risk, specifically the dock (seasonal) and the stairs to the dock. Please use caution.
