Annex, Popular Cotswold Village Pub Shop and Walks

Longborough is a perfectly located, picturesque village with wonderful footpaths and views, and an easy drive to local towns or further afield. Stratford upon Avon and Oxford under 45 minutes by car. The small room makes a great base for short breaks, cyclists and walkers. Village amenities include Opera House with a summer program, village shop, friendly local pub, school and church. Stow, Bourton on the Water, Batsford Arboretum, Broadway Tower and Chipping Campden within 15 minutes drive. The space Our guest room is a small and cosy private double with an ensuite shower room and your own entrance. Your room is on the ground floor with one step from a terrace and another between the bedroom and bathroom. You enter through a stable door which overlooks the garden. In your room you have tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk. We provide a breakfast hamper for you in the morning and there is also shop in the village that provides take away food and coffee. The guest room door opens onto a terrace with views of the garden where I grow cut flowers and veg. You are welcome to use the outside sitting area on our sunny terrace, when it's warm enough. The location is peaceful and green but we are in a large village with shop and pub, with picturesque Cotswold towns and villages only a short walk or drive away, and a wonderful selection of footpaths that lead from the village. The room is most suitable for single travellers or couples but we do have a fold up travel cot if you are travelling with a young child. Guest access Your room and door can be accessed from the outside side of the house through the garden entrance. You have your own bathroom and bedroom. Our village is best accessible by car as there are no public transport links directly to the village. There is a car parking space for you on the right hand side of the drive. Other things to note We have a dog and children so we are up early most mornings. Whilst we are pretty quiet this listing may not suit you if you are a late riser, as your room does adjoin our family living space. We provide breakfast hamper at 8am unless by special request for a different time. There is a slope between the driveway and the house and also steps so this property may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. If you don’t have a car it may be tricky for you to get here and visit the local towns as there is no public transport directly to and from the village.
