The cottage is located on a private lane with free parking. Stamford's stunning historic architecture, quaint independent shops and fabulous pubs are moments from the door. Short walk from the railway station. The cottage is ideal for a couple or group of 3. Being in town, there are daytime background noises of a a nearby laundry and occasional workman in the area but people don't generally find these a problem. The space Living and Eating There is an open-plan living and dining area on the ground floor. There are two sofas, an armchair, TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a small dishwasher. There is a dining table to seat four. There is a stairs with handrail. Bathroom White suite with shower over bath. The toilet is in the bathroom. Sleeping There are two bedrooms upstairs: one double and one with 2 foot 6 inch single bed. Misc The cottage is styled simply with some Ikea style furniture but is comfortable. Free wifi available. There is a free private parking space available outside the cottage. There is a TV in the double bedroom and a TV and DVD player in the lounge. There is washing machine (no dryer). Guest access You have full access to the whole cottage and your car will be by the front door. Other things to note The cottage is a small one room space downstairs but most people accept this and find it works well for short stays. We have a privacy film on one window as the lane outside is used by the George staff to go to work and we don't want you to feel exposed. The parking space is next to the cottage front door. The lane to get down to the cottage is quite narrow but most cars can get down OK.
