This traditional stone house comfortable for a couple or a family with a children is located in Omalos village and can accommodate up to 3 persons. The house (55sqms) has a room with a double bed, a sitting area which can accommodate one more person at a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. Also, it has the best view. Omalos village offers traditional food as there are taverns and coffee shops. Near the house is the entrance of Samaria Gorge. The space This is the second traditional stone house on the property in Omalos village, ideal for couples or a small family, accommodating up to 3 guests. The house (55 sqm) features a cozy bedroom with a double bed and a sitting area with a sofa bed for one additional guest. The living space is equipped with air conditioning and a wood-burning stove for added comfort, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house for your convenience. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals at your convenience, and the bathroom is functional and well-maintained. Outside, the house features a charming courtyard with chairs and a table, perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The location is ideal, just a 5-minute drive from the entrance of the Samaria Gorge. In Omalos, you’ll find traditional taverns and cafés serving authentic Cretan cuisine. The house is easily accessible by car, and parking is available right outside the entrance. This second house combines traditional charm with modern amenities, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat. Its location allows easy access to local taverns in Omalos, as well as nearby hiking trails including the entrance to the Samaria Gorge. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house, including the bedroom, living area, kitchen, and bathroom. They can also enjoy the front courtyard, which is equipped with chairs and a table for relaxing outdoors. During the cooler months, guests are welcome to use the wood-burning stove in the living area to create a cozy atmosphere. Other things to note The house has a solar water heating system and an electric water heater/boiler. During the summer, hot water is usually available without needing to turn anything on. In case there is no hot water in the accommodation, you can activate the water heater by pressing the button. Next to the house, on the right side, there is another rental property. Guests staying in that house may need to pass near your yard to access their entrance. The spaces remain separate, and guests respect each other’s privacy.
