'Shepherds Rest' our stunning shepherds hut.

The ultimate farm experience. Stunning views across the fields with not a road in sight. Fully equipped kitchen, shower room, double bed, TV & Wifi, fully heated. Set within its own garden in beautiful surroundings. You can sit on the patio, round the firebowl, with your Nespresso or glass of wine having a BBQ enjoying the very peaceful & tranquil setting with only the cows, calves and sheep for company! If you visit between Feb-April, you will see the newborn lambs just outside the hut. The space This is such a unique way of spending time away and really being at the heart of our working farm. Not only a stunning location without a road in sight and all the luxury of our other studios but what can be more 'quirky' than staying in a shepherd's hut? One of our lovely guests recently described our shepherds hut as “a little piece of rural heaven”. We can guarantee you will be warm & toasty with its thermostatic heater and designed to have the maximum insulation. Our lovely shepherds hut is equipped with everything you need from wifi to the bottle opener! Good WiFi and a workspace area for business stays. A great 'get away from it all' place to stay. The kitchen has a microwave, ceramic twin hob and large fridge as well as all the crockery & cutlery etc. Towels & bed linen are provided. BBQ & Firebowl in your private garden. The hut is situated in its own grounds within its garden overlooking the fields. There is garden furniture also provided so you can sit and admire the wildlife and cows and calves grazing. Come and stay between February and April where you will see the newborn lambs just outside of the hut and if you are really lucky you may even see one being born in the field where the hut sits. Guest access There is parking right outside and your own garden area with patio table & chairs to sit and make the most of the stunning views. Other things to note We welcome our guests taking lovely walks on the farm. With a brook meandering it's way through, you will see an abundance of wildlife from kingfishers to red kites. On a clear night the stars are really quite amazing.
