The Deelen apartment is located on the ground floor of the historic country house, which probably once belonged to the Lammershagen estate. The ‘Deel' converted to the kitchen-living room is the heart of the 50 sqm apartment, which is equipped with piano (rather charming than perfectly tuned), bathtub, terrace and beach chair. The entrance is the large Deelent door, the vestibule is the entrance to the other apartment. Selenter See 15 min. 5 minutes' walk to the village, 17 km to the Baltic Sea The space In the apartment, there is a kitchen-living room with a small sitting area and an old, slightly out-of-tune piano (no dishwasher!). There is an oven, kettle, toaster and a 2-burner stove. Making coffee: Espresso maker for the gas stove; for instant coffee, there is a French press pot or filter for brewing. The cozy bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a desk. The living room has a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) and direct access to the terrace with a beach chair. The other side of the house or the attic is sometimes used privately or by other guests. Unfortunately, the old country house is not super soundproof. You are completely separate in your part of the house with your own entrance and your own terrace. The garden is shared. Apps like Amazon or Netflix run on the TV/screen (no cable or satellite TV) An electric car charging station is very close by (3 minutes' walk to the Nordöl gas station, Kielerstr. 29, Selent). There is an unfenced garden pond, no childproof outlets and no special children's amenities. Guest access The apartment has 1 parking place near the house. Check-in is possible at any time from 4 pm on the day of arrival. The key is in the key safe on the shed, the code will get after booking. Your holiday apartment is separate with its own entrance and private terrace. The double connecting door to the other side of the house can be opened if both apartments are booked. At the very back of the property, about 100 meters from the house, there is a construction trailer that is used privately. The municipality of Selent was first mentioned in a document in 1197. Selent is idyllically situated on the southern shore of the second-largest lake in Schleswig-Holstein. With a size of almost 22,000 km², Lake Selenter offers local recreation – right outside the front door, nearby an Ice Age or open-air museum, a hunting lodge, a wildlife park and a museum railway – and all around, nature, hilly fields, wooded areas, lakes, the good air and, of course, the Baltic Sea, which is only a few minutes away by car.
