Villa Selva Nera: Traditional old cottage Nummela

In the middle of the forest, a relaxing holiday with the family. The birds are singing, the sun is setting, creating a beautiful reddish evening glow in the pine forest. Grill your favorite treats after a refreshing sauna trip and enjoy good company with your family and friends. Nuuksio natural park and Espoo & Helsinki attractions only half an hour's drive away. Guests: own linens and towels. Otherwise available for 10€/person. "Bathroom"= Traditional Sauna with warm water - no modern shower. The space Downstairs: kitchen, living room, bedroom. Upstairs: open 3 sleeping areas: 1) 1 double sofabed with spring mattress 140cm, 2) 2 x 80cm be) 3) In addition, the third open space can accommodate 2-3 people on the floor (mattresses on the floor). There are no intermediate doors between the rooms upstairs. SAUNA is located separately (70m) on the lake at the end of a small path: - The water is heated in the water tank connected to the stove. Eg. to get hot water the sauna is to be heated with woodfire. - Water is coming from the dwell from the main cottage. - In addition to the steam & washing room, the sauna has a small changing room. Property has NO shower NOR laundy machine. Guest access Cottage, sauna and the garden are for our guests to use. Firewood for heating sauna (and cottage if needed) are next to a hut. Free usage of wood. Other things to note Small sauna is located via trail (c. 70m trail from cottage) on lake Enäjärvi. Follow red ribbon path from the end corner of the garden. Lake might get blue-green algae on hot summers in July/August. Guests are informed but there is always fresh water from drill well for Sauna for washing.
