Country estate on the outskirts of Groningen city

The guest house "de Tuinkamer" is bright and attractively decorated and is located in a rural farmhouse, within walking distance of public transportation, on the outskirts of the city of Groningen. A fantastic place to use as a base, to work or to relax. The garden room has a spacious private garden. There is a large green yard and orchard. We have: chickens, rooster, a few sheep and a sweet dog (stabij). Other: ground floor, free parking. The space The guest house "de Tuinkamer" is a nice, cozy, high and bright space. It is a beautiful room, with lots of light through the large conservatory doors, windows and skylights. The Tuinkamer is located at the rear of the house, completely in the greenery. From the room, you have a view of the garden, including a hundred-year-old willow, walnut tree and boats sailing through the Eemskanaal. The guest house has its own garden and terrace with lots of privacy. In addition, you can use benches in the yard and in the meadow. The room and its bathroom are luxuriously furnished. There is, among other things, an adjustable spacious bed, floor heating, spacious sitting and dining area and a kitchenette (with induction hob, fridge, combi microwave). Guest access Through the shed, you enter the common hall, which gives access to the guesthouse. The shed is shared and offers space to park your bikes and to play a game of table tennis and/or darts. In the shed, there is also a "laundry room" (washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, drying rack) that you can use in consultation (and for a fee). There are also 2 rental bikes (ladies and gentlemen), which you can use in consultation (free of charge). In the common hall, there is information about the area, a first aid kit, various games, cleaning supplies. You can of course use this. Other things to note A women's and a men's bicycle are available in consultation (free of charge). It is possible to use the washing machine or dryer (5 euros per time and per machine).
