The House of Saint Amand: charm and serenity

The house at Saint Amand dates back to the 18th century and is full of charm It's a peaceful place, an ideal place to spend one or more weeks, to recharge your batteries or visit the surrounding area, the imperial town of Compiègne and even Paris, just 1 hour's drive away. From the house, it's a short walk through beautiful rolling countryside. The entrance gate opens onto a property of 3 houses. The one we rent is the main house, measuring 180 m2, with its pretty garden. The space The house of Saint Amand is very charming. It is rustic but tastefully furnished. The large kitchen and living room are welcoming spaces. In addition to central heating, there are two fireplaces for cozy evenings when the weather turns cool. An outdoor shelter in the garden is perfect for sitting and reading, or enjoying lunch or dinner.The house is ideal for a stay between April and the end of September. It has just been completely renovated in 2024-2025 (floor and wall insulation, painting, new furniture) Other things to note The house in Saint Amand was completely renovated in 2024. The insulation in the walls and floors was redone and the entire interior was repainted. New furniture has been added.
