Bright, fresh renovated spacious lower level 30x28 private lower level in 1915 Arts & Crafts home. A classic white wainscoting farmhouse style decor is throughout the three rooms. A 10x8 tiled bathroom has double sinks w/ granite top vanity, walk-in pebble tiled floor and deluxe shower heads. The space The lower lever finished space of our single family home is a private "apartment " and has an overall square footage of 28x24 Because noise travels it really only works for one person and not for people working shifts and sleeping in the daytime . The main finished room has a tile floor with east and south facing windows. The kitchen and laundry room are combined and there are four west facing windows. The kitchenette and laundry area has a light gray painted concrete floor with two 8x10 wool gray woven rugs. Kitchen has new cabinets and is equipped with electric stove, a new large Wolf microwave with convention oven, and utility sink. All essentials including toaster, french press, coffee pot, all dish ware, silverware etc..The full size washer and dryer with a utility sink. This area has exposed rafters with exposed duct work and also houses the furnace, water heater and water softener behind a wall which occasionally needs to be accessed. The space can be accessed through the garage door ( with code keypad) or through the back door if the main house is not rented. Please note** to get to your space if you use the garage entrance you have to walk through the sauna room . I use the sauna daily and try to schedule it the you are not home . Guest access Access through the garage or back door of house depending on the season. You can store your bike in the attached shared garage space. Parking is street parking only and may require you to purchase a 40.00 residential parking permit with lease. We prefer to book for a minimum of three months to working professionals , not conducive for people working night shift. Option to book year round with additional lease. During your stay Most of the time there will be someone living upstairs, possibly with a pet. Other things to note The Arts and Crafts home was built in 1915 as a three bedroom, one and a half story house. We are the second owners, purchasing it in 1991. Over the course of two decades we've updated all the major mechanicals, expanded the kitchen and custom built cabinets to match the original builtins throughout the house. Transformed the large hidden treasure attic into a 1000 square foot master bedroom which includes a large full bathroom with jacuzzi tub, second floor laundry and built in closets, guest loft and 12x8 attached deck (all completed in keeping with historic architecture).
