The house (built in the 1870's) has a dock, spectacular sunrises over the lake and a neogotic church on the other side. It is the only house directly at the lake. Drive to Prague 45 minutes, Kutna Hora 15 minutes. Beautiful scenery, the Czech countryside at its best! The house has 5 nicely decorated rooms and 2 bathrooms; There is a 1000 sq.ft. (100m2) playroom/music room with wooden floor to gather in larger groups, with a ping-pong table, fussball, a music studio, and two living rooms with views to the lake and the local church. You can enjoy watching your favourite videos and other entertaining websites on huge plasma TV with Chromecast. Separate HDMI cable is here as well. The kitchen is wood / brick colour with a table that accommodates 8 comfortably, seated on very old wooden chairs. The house is heated by 6 wood stoves, some with a large glass adding coziness. The house offers a unique and amazing sunrise on the windows over the lake. When there is full moon and clear skies, the moon rises over the lake, offering a truly spectacular view and atmosphere. The house has a wine cellar with almost constant temperature year round. The house is easily accessible all-year round and is on the edge of the village of Vavřinec (St.Lawrence). There is a bus stop about 100 meters from the house and a train station 1.5 km away with trains every hour from the city of Kolin. Swimming in the lake is fine, access to the water is done via a wooden dock and a pool ladder. Full grilling capacity is available. Small children should be instructed not to walk down to the lake alone, even though it is not deep. The house is a two-storey house and is truly historical. The upper story is not renovated and access is not given to hosts, although for the sake of curiosity it can be visited. The house was built in the 1890's. LOCATION: PRAGUE DOWNTOWN is a 50 minute drive away, Kutna Hora 15 minutes away (a Unesco city featuring among other St.Barbara's cathedral, one of the most spectacular in Europe), and the house is in the middle of Vavrinec, a 400 people village from the 18th century. The village is very safe, tidy, quiet, and... dream-like. Guest access You will be staying in a large comfortable house, which you can enjoy at large. Cuddle up to watch TV, or sit outside and try luck watching fish jump.The house is right at the lake, and has great privacy, as it is the only house on the entire lake.
