Entire Country Coach House in West Sussex

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within West Sussex (Warninglid), this lovely little home has a very special place in our family's heart and is equipped with everything you could need for a memorable stay. You will have access to the High Weald on your doorstep with numerous bridleways and footpaths. Access to the South Downs and coast is only a short drive away; locally, there is a wealth of fine dining choices and easily accessible shopping options in the nearby market towns. The space As you enter through a traditional stable door, the deceptively spacious coach house has original beams throughout, with wonderful thick walls offering warmth in winter and cool respite in the summer. All the handmade deep windowsills have 'waney edges' adding to the character of the home. The entrance leads to a breakfast room, with a shower room to one side, complimentary welcome toiletries and fitted washing machine; a fully fitted kitchen is next door, including a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and everything you will need for a Masterchef moment! The kitchen has a walk-in larder which will have some essentials to get you started such as oils (olive, sunflower, walnut and truffle), condiments, mayo, tomato sauce, mustards, fresh coffee for cafetieres, etc. Every room is tastefully furnished and well appointed; a few steps lead up to a large sitting room with vaulted ceiling, a wealth of beams, log burner and an oak staircase to the first floor. The very pretty single bedroom with French swing curtains and Georgian chest of drawers, is cosy and quaint. Across the landing is the shower room with large shower and toiletries. Up a short staircase to the restful main bedroom with king-size bed, more Georgian chests of drawers and plenty of wardrobe space. Both bedrooms have a choice of pillows and a huge amount of towels are at your disposal. Outside the Coach House is a small terraced sun-trap with table, sun umbrella and chairs and is a great area for breakfast, lunch or dinner al fresco. Figs, strawberries, pears, plums, damsons and countless apples are all available for you to enjoy if you are here when they are in season. You are also free to use the orchard and meadow for picnics and relaxation. Guest access You will need wheels to explore the local area and further afield although the rail links are excellent (to London and South coast) and within 20 mins away: Haywards Heath to Brighton - 10 mins Three Bridges to London Victoria - 40 mins Three Bridges to London St Pancras - 50 mins Parking at the property is private and secure. Taxis are available from the stations though it’s best to pre-book. Other things to note On arrival, you will find a substantial complimentary breakfast basket, including fresh eggs courtesy of Prada, Donnatella and Coco, who also look forward to meeting you! Both shower rooms have body wash, shampoo and conditioner and there are hairdryers in each bedroom. You have a lovely log burner and we will leave you kindling and small cut logs to get started however more logs can be bought, just let us know. A traditional picnic basket, cooler bag, rug, folding table and chairs are all available for picnics in the meadow or further afield...just unwind and enjoy yourselves!
