Tiny Home 'HYGGE' - a contemporary eco cabin

Unique cabin HYGGE's vibe is industrial chic with blush and sage tones. A Tiny Home but not titchy! Located on a meadow of six Tiny Home cabins, next to a forest. Sleeps up to 4 – 1 king OR 2 singles & double sofa bed. This is an eco cabin so you know that your holiday will not have a negative impact on the environment. Our new spa facility (wood fired hot tub and sauna) can be added to your stay - NB check availability and cost before booking if a must for you(two night bookings only)! The space About Tiny Home HYGGE Hygge is a Danish word that represents wellbeing, pronounced Hoo-gaa and meaning a cosy atmosphere Hygge is just that. I think out of all our cabins Hygge is the most surprising when it comes to the inside. Everyone always says it seems bigger than they imagined it would! On the ground floor you have a living space with an awesome wood burning stove , an L shaped sofa to stretch out on that turns into a double bed when the ottoman is clipped in. A generous (for a cabin) galley style kitchen with regular size appliances and a contemporary shower room with a modern composting toilet. There were two mezzanine levels - one a sleeping space ( bed can either be king or twin) and the other is a storage area with hanging rail and other storage options. Hygge has an industrial chic inspired interior with shades of bush and sage . I personally enjoy staying in Hygge very much - it’s a great space for two or three friends to stay together. Sleeps four total PLEASE NOTE - not suitable for four adults PLUS children/infants ... please do not book if you are trying to fit five people in even if one is a baby! We state this as we wish all guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Each of our Tiny Homes has the following facilities Kitchen – cooker, hob, fridge with small icebox and plenty of kitchen equipment Shower and WC – composting of course! The toilet is like a regular toilet but is waterless and has a separator - meaning that you wee in the front section and "everything else" in the back section - it easy, honestly! Eco (bum friendly) toilet paper is supplied along with sawdust to use as you wish. Serviced on request by us - no trouble at all! Charnwood wood burning stove - all fuel supplied Pristine white linen and towels are supplied Welcome pack - tea, coffee, milk and home made cake ... plus essentials such as washing up liquid and tea towels . Outside deck – also outside seating and your own BBQ The Tiny Home cabins are designed to be lo fi … but there is access to wifi in the on site studio should you need it. PLEASE NOTE - no wifi in the actual cabin! ABOUT OUR ECO CABINS The Tiny Home cabins are designed to be lo fi … there is access to wifi in the on site studio should you need it. PLEASE NOTE - no wifi in the actual cabin! Our Tiny Homes are OFF GRID eco cabins and you must be aware of this before booking. As well as having the composting toilets we use solar power and there are USB sockets in the cabin - regular sockets are available in our studio - along with Wifi, hairdryers, iron etc - you will have 24 hour access to this facility. NEW - hot tub/sauna Spa available to hire. Ask for details - you can add this to your booking for the applicable fee - check availability before booking if it is a must for you! We continue to clean to a high standard including the use of anti viral cleaning spray to EN 14476 standard and our staff are fully briefed on procedures. We ask that you kindly help us with these simple requests ….. • Please take all garbage to bins next to the car park • Please do strip linen and put in bags provided inside cloth bag • Please place towels in a separate plastic bag (not teatowels) • Please respect those guests coming after you and ensure all washing up done to a high standard • Regarding your toilet – this can be serviced on request – text number above before midday • This protocol is subject to change on any new government advice • CHECK OUT TIME is 10.30 Guest access Your cabin is for your private use off street car parking Studio facility (wifi , power, iron, hairdryers) For little ones there is a Teeny-tiny playhouse in the meadow.
