If you prefer a quiet holiday, enjoy a cozy Winter evening in front of the fire. In Summer take in the stars from our huge private deck. North Tahoe has something to offer everyone! Guest access Access to the resort is via walking, biking, and car. As well, in the winter there is a free Mountaineer shuttle (app available). The resort and the lifts are about a 5 minute walk. No slippery hills to negotiate. Our cozy comfortable house has an amazing view of the Mountain and valley. There are stairs to negotiate from the parking area as well as inside the house. Shirley Canyon is a 5 minute walk. Lake Tahoe is a 10 minute drive. Reno is a 45 minute drive. San Francisco is a 4 hour drive. For a beautiful and relaxing holiday, you can not beat the North Tahoe area. Other things to note Our road access is very easy on snowy days. There are 18 stair steps to navigate up from the parking area. Please be careful in the winter due to ice and snow. We have a locking bear box in the parking area with two garbage cans inside. Please use this. Remember not to leave any food in your vehicle due to bears.
