Set in beautiful countryside, with panoramic views to Dartmoor and beyond, the Cottage is just 2 miles from the A30, giving guests excellent access to major tourist destinations, popular Cornish beaches, famous landmarks including Lydford Gorge, Tintagel Castle, St Michael's Mount, numerous National Trust properties and many of the most popular west Devon and Cornish beaches. Furthermore, Dartmoor National Park is just 20 minutes drive, offering many beautiful walks and off road cycling routes. Despite its rural location, there are many pubs and restaurants in the vicinity, with ample local amenities nearby for groceries; the award winning Strawberry Fields Farm Shop is just a few miles away. Guests can also arrange for online grocery delivery, freeing up time for rest and relaxation. This light, airy and sunny room is the perfect space for you relax, with a comfy sofa and chair creating a pleasant seating area, perfect for an evening in front of the fire, watching your favourite movie. A separate dining area is ideally positioned for you to enjoy views over the garden through the French windows, which lead to the patio French windows lead out from the sitting room on to a sunny patio, which is perfect for relaxing in the sun, al fresco dining or an evening barbecue. A large bedroom features a beautiful wooden super king-size bed with luxurious memory foam mattress, which will help ensure you get a great night’s sleep. The bedroom has wonderful far reaching views towards Dartmoor, providing a great place to watch the sunrise. Enjoy a relaxing shower or bath in our beautifully presented, well-equipped bathroom. The Cottage can accommodate one well behaved small to medium dog and guests are welcome to use our fully fenced field as an exercise area, where they can be let off the lead. Being near to Dartmoor and many Cornish beaches, there'll always be plenty of walks to choose from. The Cottage and outside spaces are in full sun throughout the day and are a great place to relax and unwind after a day exploring on the moors or coastal paths. The surroundings of the cottage are a wonderful feature, with sheep grazing in the fields opposite and a private garden to enjoy. Guest access Guests have access to a private garden opposite the Cottage patio. They also have access to Dartmoor View, which is an fully fenced area with seating offering views to Dartmoor. It has the morning sun and is a shady place to sit on hot afternoons. As the name suggests, it also has far reaching views to the beautiful Dartmoor skyline. Dog owners also have access to a fully fenced paddock where they can let out and exercise their dogs off the lead. Other things to note The Cottage is part of a smallholding, which includes a range of animals, so there are certain areas of the property where guests do not have access. Also, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside.
