This Shotgun Shack is a genuine cypress board and batten shotgun shack. Construction of the cabin dates back to the late 1920’s, after the Great Flood of 1927. The shack was move to the property and has undergone a complete restoration. It has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Situated behind the antebellum Burrus Home a.k.a “The Baby Doll House”, near Benoit, MS. There is a gas station in Benoit that sells beverages and snacks but no grocery stores. The space The bedroom features a queen size bed and there is a sofa bed in the living area. Coffee pot, mini fridge, toaster oven and microwave are provided. Country setting with stunning sunsets and authentic Delta experience. You will find a private setting and be 20 miles from Greenville, Cleveland, Indianola, and Rosedale. and 45 miles from Clarksdale and Greenwood. Benoit is a 2.5 hour drive from Memphis, Jackson, and Little Rock. And a 3 hour drive from Natchez. Guest access Guests have access to our grounds and can tour The Baby Doll House upon request
