Geodesic Dome House in the Forest

Located in a quiet forest village in the countryside of Izmir, our dome house is located in a 35-acre natural and regenerative farm (Potlak Onarım). In addition to the natural riches around it, it is located in a location where you can reach historical places and beaches in a short distance. The dome house, designed to experience life in harmony with the countryside, has a 75 m2 living area with a patio. The space Built with environmentally friendly materials and methods in the form of a geodesic dome, our house offers its guests the experience of living in a circular space with a spacious interior. Our dome is located in a calm and relaxing pine forest. This is a place adorned with mountain air and the sounds of cicadas in the summer. We grow seasonal vegetables and fruits on our land all year round with eco-friendly farming methods. If you wish, you can get the products we harvest during your stay. In our bathroom on the ground floor, you will find hot water with an electric thermostat, a washing machine, and clean towels and toilet paper that will be renewed every week. We would also like to point out that our room is located on the mezzanine floor and is not enclosed by a wall so that you can get the best dome experience. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, kettle, water purifier) where you can cook as you wish in our dome, and a barbecue that you can use in your garden (we do not use the barbecue in the summer months due to the risk of fire) will also be at your service. We will also be offering a pair of mountain bikes for sports or sightseeing during your visit. The woods around the Ataköy pond or adjacent to our land are among the places we enjoy visiting. Claros, the ancient Greek prophecy center, just 6 km from our land, is among the other nearby attractions you can visit. If you prefer public transportation to Izmir, the nearest Izban station is 30 minutes away by bus. The location of the Kubbe house is also at most 35 minutes away from coastal, historical and touristic places such as Kuşadası, Ephesus, Selçuk, Özdere in the south. Our nearest beach, Ahmetbeyli and its surrounding bays, is 7-9 km away and can be reached by public transportation. There are many forest roads and hiking routes around the Ataköy pond, where you can cycle or walk around the village (e.g. Ephesus-Mimas hiking route).
