Hare's Folly is an off-grid eco Log House, it is one of two (Owls Rest) quiet and idyllic self catering holiday accommodation situated on our 250 acre Farm Estate which sits on the banks of Sulby Reservoir in the heart of the Great British countryside. Enjoy picturesque views, beautiful sunsets and an abundance of Wildlife from the Hot Tub and sauna. This log houses and its Hot Tub and sauna are totally private. It is accessed by hard farm tracks with electric field gates via Park Farm. The space Built from logs of warm rich Quebec Pine. Open plan Canadian style log house, suitable for up to 6 people to stay. King Size double bed, twin Divan beds, and a king size sofa-bed. Open plan living/kitchen/dining area with everything you need. Finished to a high standard to give that home from home feeling. There is a decked terrace leading down to the Private Hot Tub overlooking the Reservoir. The reservoir is a Syndicate Fishing reservoir owned by Canals & Rivers Trust. We include the logs for the hot tub and sauna, which come off the farm from our sustainable tree plantations. Unfortunately we can't accommodate electric car charging due to the off-grid nature of the property, this will cause the generator to run and we can't be sure if this would affect your car or not. If you require a charging facility there is one in Welford, on West Street, opposite the Church. Guest access This listing is for the whole property, Hot Tub and Sauna. Supermarket deliveries must be pre-booked with us, as there is no access for a delivery direct to the log house. Other things to note Festive bookings are Tuesday 23rd December - Saturday 27th December (4 nights) Saturday 27th December - Tuesday 30th December (3 nights) Tuesday 30th December - Friday 2nd January (3 nights) The BBQ is available all year round No pets allowed. Please note, check in/check out days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday We are happy for children to stay, we can provide travel cots and high chairs, how ever there are no stairgates for inside or outside.
