The Candle Loft

This second floor apartment is located directly on Fountain Square in downtown Bowling Green, KY. Steps away from quaint shops and restaurants, this spacious 900 square foot unit offers a king-sized bed adjacent to living area. There is a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed also. Both of the areas overlook the historic downtown square. The space This beautiful apartment is located upstairs above our store, Candle Makers on the Square. The entrance is to the left of the store (when facing) and is totally separate. The beds are quite comfortable, and the apartment is very spacious. There is room for a family to spread out a bit and enjoy some time together or for a couple to have a great weekend away. Other things to note PARKING: Parking is available anywhere around the square for no charge. You will see signs for 2 hour parking, but those are no longer enforced. Depending on the time of day, you can often find a space right in front of the apartment. The BUSIEST time for parking is probably going to be during the week day work hours (especially until 4:00 or 5:00). WEEKENDS: We have events from time to time in the downtown area that might make that might make parking more difficult. There may be an occasion when you may need to consider parking further away during the day and then moving closer once parking is better. PLEASE do not hesitate to call me or call the store for help or assistance at any point. PLEASE NOTE that while we pride ourselves in the beauty and convenience of our small downtown location, there is on occasion some unavoidable noise outside on the sidewalks late in the evening/early morning when a few of the local bars close and people congregate on the sidewalks below. We have SOUND MACHINES in each room and also a BOX FAN in the armoire of the second bedroom room that should help for noise during those short periods of time if it is bothersome. We apologize for any inconvenience, but simply want to make you aware of that possibility. Typically, if this is an issue it is only on Friday or Saturday evenings. We are working with local vendors and law enforcement to help control this situation particularly when we have overnight guests.
