Spend the night in the heart of Giethoorn on the village canal

Special overnight stays in the heart of Giethoorn at Gieters Gruttertje on the village canal within walking distance of all facilities. Sleeping in a nice king-size bed from where you can watch movies in the evening on a large projection screen. The stay has large French doors to the courtyard garden. Optionally, a Jacuzzi / Spa can be rented. The stay has a private entrance and a free parking space on the property. The space The total area of the property is 100m2 and completely self-sufficient. The location is spacious and step-free, making it accessible with a wheelchair including toilet and shower. The house & veranda are completely private, the courtyard garden will be shared with the residents. There is a spacious kitchen with dining table, bean coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, microwave oven, toaster & a spacious fridge. The entire house has underfloor heating. At the kitchen there is a sitting area consisting of 2 single beds and a 4K TV equipped with Netflix, NPO start, Disney+ & Prime Video. From the bed you can watch movies on a big projection screen ( diameter 3m ). ( incl Netflix, Disney+, Prime, AppleTV+, NPO Start, Ziggo movies / HBO ) In addition, there is also a baby cot, high chair and changing mat and possibly also children's toys. In the closet are fun games & books. There is also a finely playable western guitar, a hairdryer and iron. The bedding is included and made upon arrival. In addition, there are plenty of hand & tea towels in the accommodation. Furthermore, all the basic products are present in the cottage: bean coffee, various types of tea, dishwasher cubes, cleaning products, hand soap, shampoo, toilet paper, sugar, oil & herbs. And should there be anything missing during the stay, we try to arrange that. We have a free 2 person Canoe for guests. The Spa / Jacuzzi area can be booked optionally. The cost is €50,- for the first day of use and €20 for each follow up day. This includes the use of robes, hammam cloths and bath slippers. Gieters Gruttertje has a stay for up to 4 people, more people are not allowed due to our license & insurance.  It's not a place for noisy & partying groups. During the day, quiet visit to the stay is possible. Guest access The guests have their own private stay in Gieters Gruttertje. This is located at the rear of our house. Between the stay and our house is a large workshop for future shopping activities, but it is now hardly in use. So our house is not located directly next to the stay. Guests can use the shared courtyard garden and the waterfront veranda. For a fee, a whisper boat can also be rented for the whole day. We have a 2-person canoe that can be used for free.
