Without the suite there is a foyer leading to a large living room, kitchen with dining area, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath. This home is comfy and has a history room showing family collectibles dating back to 1854.... Children under 12 years of age are not suitable and No Pets are allowed. The space There are many nearby stores to shop for groceries. You have a full kitchen set up with China to pot and pans. Many small appliances. The local eateries also deliver to the home. This home is easy to find in the north east part of Maryland and located just 3 miles from Exit 100 off of 95. There are many parks in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware within 10 miles apart. Calvert Regional Sports Park and Fairhill International is minutes away. Go for nature walks or for the bike trails. There is a Chesapeake Golf course in the back yard. We have churches of every denomination in the area. Cecil County Dragway is very close too. If time permits, Longwood Gardens is a beautiful place to visit. Many make day trips to Baltimore, Washington, D. C. and Philadelphia. Ask me more about the surroundings and places to see. Such as, Havre De Grace, Port Deposit, Chesapeake City and North East are lovely towns on the Chesapeake Bay. Rent a kayak or explore the eagles nesting at Conowingo Dam. Ripken Stadium, Hollywood Casino, Great Wolf Lodge, Plumpton Park Zoo and the list goes on for your adventure. Be sure to get your reservation early. There is no washer or dryer for use at the home but there is a local laundromat. Guest access The driveway is paved and has plenty of parking space. It is your private driveway with a patio in the back of the home. There is a gazebo to sit in and relax. The golfers at Chesapeake Golf Club can be seen from the gazebo. The golf course was once part of Karen's family farm. Home Away from Home was built in 1974 and Karen lives in another home next to it. She built her home in 1994 and raised a family. If needed, Karen will meet and greet you upon arrival and give a tour of the home then answer any questions. Other things to note This home is not set up for children under the age of 12. You will be greeted and welcomed by host, Karen. She will need to know the time of your arrival. Texting or calling her the day of your reservation, with arrival time, will be best. On hand essentials for use during your stay is available such as soap, shampoo and conditioner and dish soap in the kitchen. The paper products are in the home too. All linens, towels and paper products are provided. There is no washer or dryer but there is a local laundromat.
