Chalet in Haggerston

My place is a lodge (not caravan) situated in Haggerston Castle Holiday Park - 5 mins walk to onsite family-friendly activities and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the views. My place is good for couples/solos/families. Separately you need to buy a PLAY PASS to use the Holiday Park facilities . ****NB during winter months ie from 5th november most of the park facilities are closed- please call Haggerston/Haven direct for details The space The Willerby Boston is a fantastic luxury lodge which offers a massive amount space in the open plan living and kitchen area with all the mod cons of a luxury apartment. Some other lodges on site are 13ft wide – this lodge is 20ft wide – very roomy. The lodge sleeps a maximum of 6 - Bedroom 1 : one larger double (5ft) bed with ensuite, Bedroom 2 with triple bunk - with a standard 4ft6 double bed below and standard single up top. Lounge : SINGLE sofabed. This lodge comes with full decking which brings the outside in and more space for all the family. The view of the lake from the decking (and inside) is lovely… great expanse of water and mature trees. Lots of birdlife and no midges! The decking is great for BBQ’s or a place to read a book, sip wine and have a ‘Nana nap’! You can’t see the complex from the decking as there is a wooded island in the way, so you feel very secluded, yet the Haggerston Complex is 5mins walk away along the side of the lake. Both bedrooms have a very large walk-in wardrobe and the master bedroom has en-suite shower room. Features of the Lodge include ; Spacious living and dining area with moveable furniture (unlike a caravan) Modern large kitchen – including washing machine, dishwasher, double oven, gas hob, fridge freezer (caravans don’t have washing machines or dishwashers usually) Spacious master bedroom with plenty of storage space and ensuite (shower, basin and toilet) and walk in wardrobe Second bedroom with triple sleeper - ie double bunk below and single up top ( all adult sizes) with with walk in wardrobe Main bathroom – bath, shower, toilet and basin Modern landscape fire, and stylish furniture including ‘floating’ shelves Single sofa bed in lounge Full-height storage and coat cupboard Decking with wonderful views of lake, Rattan outdoor sofa, Garden table and chairs on decking so you can enjoy the sun Also, lots of practical shelving and storage, Gas central heating, Double glazing, Smoke detector, Carbon Monoxide detector, Boiler serviced and all gas appliances safety checked every year What does the Lodge come with? The caravan is set up so you don’t have to think about anything! Personally it drives me potty when you hire a place and there’s no oven gloves or tea towels or dishwasher tablets etc. Extras to make your stay more comfortable include the following: All bedlinen / duvets/ pillows. Duvet and pillows are polyester not feather (for those who have allergies). All pots, pans, crockery, utensils, bottle opener (a must) etc. 1 Towel per adult plus 2 hand towels are provided (for indoor use only) – please bring spare towels for beach/swim pool or if you require more than one towel per adult. Smart TV ( inc Netflix and Amaon Prime which you can sign into) Widescreen Freeview TV in master bedroom, Freeview tiv and dvd player in triple room. Wide selection of DVDs, books and magazines and board games provided. First aid kit (plasters/bandages/skin wipes only), Plenty of hangers in the wardrobes! All you need for the stay is provided from dishwasher tablets, scrubbers, teatowel, 1 bin bag, cling film, kitchen foil, herbs and spices, oven gloves, 2 toilet rolls and 1 kitchen roll Full information pack including emergency contacts etc etc. Tourist info pack/maps/guides etc including owner guide to best local places to go to off the park Child high chair provided. Gas and electric are included but subject to fair usage policy. Box of assorted kids toys. First generation Wii, and Wii fit and games. Bring batteries! Guest access The holiday park is available to all guests. The amenities including swimming pool, archery, rifle, Segway, Go Ape etc activities is available at a cost. There is a beauty spa with jacuzzi, sauna and beauty treatments. Theres a golf course. YOU MUST book play passes well in advance to guarantee access to kids activities. Last minute bookings are likely to find activities are booked up. To secure play passes the owner must register guests and their vehicles, and Haven will send you a link to book passes and then activities. They are expensive mind. But there is plenty to do in the locality at low cost. Other things to note NB during winter months most park facilities are closed - please call Haggerston direct for details as they can be subject to change - some winter weekends there are shows on, eg bonfire night, halloween, but the pool is closed usually from end of October/early Nov to January (The park is closed Jan-Feb) The beauty spa seems to be mostly closed in winter except when special events on.
