Located in the heart of the country of the Pre-Ardennes ridges in a village of 300 inhabitants, renovated stone house in an old 17th century farmhouse. Volumes, brightness, space, comfort, warm atmosphere, calm, cocooning, relaxation are the key words of your stay. You will discover this charming region close to Belgium: walks in the forest, tree climbing parks, tasting local products, breweries, events, museums, chateaux, fortified churches, canoeing, fortifications, cycling on the Voie Verte, lakes, the WOINIC boar, the Cabaret Vert, the puppet festival, Reims with its cathedral and cellars (45 min)... Treat yourself to moments of relaxation in the small relaxation area on the ground floor of the house. You will feel the benefits of the gentle or invigorating jets of the balneotherapy bathtub, in an atmosphere of soft and changing colors, scented with essential oils, lulled by your favorite music. Please note that this is not a swimming pool/Jacuzzi but a spa bath, and that it is advisable to wait 6 hours between 2 sessions so that the water tank heats the required amount (see the photos). You will enjoy being warm for an aperitif by the fireplace (soapstone wood stove). Wood and firelighters are provided free of charge during the cold period. This is the main heating for the house. Electric heaters complete this equipment. Books, comics, board games, outdoor games, a large-screen TV connected with Chromecast, fiber Wi-Fi are at your disposal, as well as a Bose Bluetooth sound bar. You'll also find: raclette machine, crepe maker, fondue machine, indoor plancha, traditional coffee maker and coffee machine (Nespresso capsules), 2 refrigerators with freezer compartments, traditional oven and microwave, induction stove, table and garden furniture, small electric barbecue. Bed linen, bath towels and tea towels are not provided. Bedrooms 1 and 2 on the first floor. Room 3 on the second floor (Velux): open space 8 meters high, not recommended for small children and people prone to vertigo. Single night bookings are subject to conditions. The garage and one of the 2 bedrooms on the 2 nd floor are not accessible to guests. Other things to note The cottage, with an area of 155 m2 and a height of 8 meters, has 2 floors (the first 3 steps do not have a ramp) and a pit in front of the fireplace. the grounds in the front and back of the building are unenclosed. young children must remain under the supervision of their parents. You access directly into the open living room on the ground floor including kitchenette, dining area and living room High table for meals. Check out at the end of the stay: The kitchen , dining area and living room must be returned in the same clean condition as on your arrival and the objects returned to their place.
